Briarcliff Dog Featured in 2018 Calendar

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, NY — A dog from Briarcliff Manor has become a pet celebrity. National retailer Pet Valu has included the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in its 2018 calendar.

Cooper was selected by Pet Valu from thousands of customer-submitted pet photos to be “Mr. July” in the 2018 calendar.

"Our family loves our local Pet Valu store and staff," said Cooper's owner, Elayna Krebser. "Cooper always runs up to the door as soon as we pull in. We are so proud of our little guy for making it into the 2018 calendar and look forward to his big event." Cooper posed for pictures and “Pawtographs” at the Pet Valu at Chilmark Shopping Center on Saturday.

The calendar is available for $5, and proceeds will be donated to groups that prevent animal cruelty, such as Bobbi & the Strays. Every calendar also comes loaded with coupons totaling up to $150 in savings.
