Briarcliff HS Literary Magazine Wins Gold!

Congratulations to the staff of Briarcliff High School’s literary arts magazine Briars & Ivy for winning a gold medal in the 2013 Columbia Scholastic Press Association's literary art magazine critique.  According to the judge's commentary, "[Briars & Ivy] should be commended for putting together such a professional-looking book. It was a pleasure to read. The pages flowed; visuals were appealing and added to the works. … This is just a great, sophisticated book."

Co-editors-in-chief, senior Jessica Daneshvar and alumni Tamar Honig put the 2013 volume of Briars & Ivy together. English teacher Karen McCarthy in the magazine advisor.
