Briarcliff Manor Skier Qualifies in Junior National Championships

BRIARCLIFF MANOR NY-- A Briarcliff Manor athlete has been recognized for her skill on the slopes, according to Deerfield Valley News. Mount Snow Academy (MSA) recently held their Carinthia Open which was recently upgraded to an AFP Silver Event by the Association of Freeski Professionals, according to the paper.

Ava Melnychuk, of Briarcliff Manor, NY resident qualified in the Junior National Championships to compete among 90 of the best free skiers in their age group in the nation, based on their results over the season.

Mount Snow Academy is a winter slopeside academy for alpine, freeskiing and snowboarding.
