Just as the government reopened for business, the entire Briarcliff Middle School seventh-grade set out to rediscover the historical gems found in Philadelphia, including the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, the National Constitution Center, Ben Franklin’s gravesite, and the Betsy Ross House. This is the second year in a row that BMS seventh graders visited the city.
Teacher Laura Gualtiere explained that this allows the students, who are presently studying early American history, to gain a deeper understanding for what they are learning by visiting the sites where much of it all began. The trip was partially funded by the PTA
