Briarcliff School Board Must Replace Trustee
The appointee will serve until the next Board of Education election.

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, NY — Briarcliff school Trustee Guido Federici has resigned from the Briarcliff Board of Education effective Thursday and district officials are looking for someone to fill in until the end of his term.
Federici was unopposed in 2020.
The vacancy will be filled by appointment, district officials said in an announcement.

The effective term of office will be July 14 until the next school board election, which is May 16, 2023.
Boards of education oversee and set policy for a public school district’s affairs, personnel, finances and properties. School board members are elected for three-year terms. They are unpaid.
