Carmine P. Fasciani, Retired Briarcliff Manor Detective Sergeant

Carmine P. Fasciani, of Naples, FL died on October 24, 2014. He was 79 years old. Born in Ossining, NY, he was one of six children born to Italian immigrants Mary and Carmine Fasciani.

Carmine’s two children, predeceased him: Natalie Shea in 2006 and Victor P. Fasciani in 2012. He is survived by his three grandchildren, Ryan Shea of Massachusettes, and Gabriella and Juliana Fasciani of Georgia; and by his sister Olga Hoffman of Poughkeepsie. Four of Carmine’s siblings, brothers Alfred, Richard, and Rudy, and sister Linda Galetto predeceased him.

Carmine was an Army veteran. After 21 years as a Detective Sergeant, he retired from the Briarcliff Manor Police Department to run his own private security agency, Fasciani Security, Inc.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 22,10 AM at St. Theresa’s Church, Briarcliff Manor. Interment to follow at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery.
