CELEBRATE FREEDOM

In July 1776, a group of individuals committed to paper a decree The Declaration of Independencewhich stated in part:

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”

Who does not want Life, Liberty and Happiness in their life?  Two-hundred plus years later, we live in a very different time, yet the principles stated in The Declaration of Independence ring as true now as they did back then.

The freedom we seek now may not be political freedom like was being sought then, but the concept of freedom is essential to our everyday lives.  What is the freedom that we seek today?  It is the freedom to be everything that we were created to be.  It is the freedom to live fully.  It is the freedom to have more prosperity, strength, acceptance, health, wisdom, joy and ease in our lives.

A study at the University of California, Irvine of over 2800 people, looked at the changes people self-reported in their lives as their spines became more free and flexible while under Network Spinal Analysis care.  The researchers concluded there are five major categories where people saw significant benefits:

Improved Life Enjoyment relative to: Experience of relaxation and well being, Interest in maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Feeling open when relating to others, Confidence when dealing with adversity, Compassion and acceptance of others, Incidence of feelings of joy or happiness.

Improved Overall Quality of Life relative to: Personal Life, Extent one adapts to change, Handling problems in life, Actual life accomplishments, Overall contentment with life, Significant other, Job and Co-workers, Life being what one wants it to be, Romantic Life, Actual Work Done, Physical appearance.

As we celebrate Independence Day this month, let us remember to celebrate our personal freedom to have Life, Liberty and Happiness in our bodies and daily lives.  As our spine becomes more flexible, adaptable, peaceful and reorganizes, we invite greater freedom and change into our lives so we can truly hold self-evident the greatness we were created and meant to be.
