A new MRI facility will be built in the space currently occupied by the hospital’s main lobby, and the front of the 755 building will be expanded to create a new main lobby.

During construction, the main road in front of the 701 (main hospital) and 755 buildings will be closed, but it will be possible to get from one side of the campus to the other by driving behind the hospital. The front entrances to the hospital and 755 building will also be closed.

A temporary main entrance and admitting office will be located at the West Wing entrance, on the same side of the hospital as the Emergency Department. Access to the 755 building, where the SurgiCenter, physician practices, outpatient physical and occupational therapy, and other outpatient services are located, will be through the back entrance only, across from the parking garage. Interior access between the 701 and 755 buildings will be maintained at all times.

The parking area outside the West Wing and Emergency Department will be reserved for patients and visitors and additional parking will be available in the other lots around the campus as well as in the garage. Parking, as always, is free of charge.

It is expected that both projects will be completed by the end of the year.
