Cops Stop Car Speeding on the Taconic, Arrest Passenger
He had more than three ounces of marijuana.

New York State Police arrested Carlos Rosa Jr., 39, of the Bronx, for Criminal Possession of Marihuana 4th Degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.
On Aug. 23, Trooper Joseph Coppola observed a grey Toyota sedan traveling southbound on the Taconic State Parkway at a high rate of speed that performed an unsafe lane change. Coppola made a traffic stop, interviewed the driver, and following an investigation, concluded that a passenger in the vehicle, Rosa, was in possession of about 99 grams—less than four ounces—of marijuana.
Rosa was issued an Appearance Ticket to appear before the Town of Mount Pleasant Court on Sept. 10, and was released after posting $500 station bail.
