County Legislator Cunzio Wins Decisively In District 3
She is the only Conservative on the Westchester County Board of Legislators.

MOUNT PLEASANT, NY — Westchester County Legislator Margaret Cunzio declared victory Wednesday in her bid for a fourth term representing District 3, which includes Mount Pleasant, North Castle, Pleasantville and parts of Sleepy Hollow, Briarcliff Manor and Greenburgh.
According to the Westchester County Board of Elections on Wednesday, with all districts reporting Cunzio led David Vinjamuri with 7,035 votes (58 percent) to Vinjamuri’s 5,069 votes (42 percent).
"Thank you to the residents of District 3 for their overwhelming support, which is truly humbling," she said. "It has been a privilege to serve them over the last six years. I will continue to work in a nonpartisan manner to achieve meaningful results for our community and all of Westchester County."

Cunzio is the only Conservative serving on the County Legislature.
Absentee ballots are still to be counted. The Board of Elections is required to check the poll book before canvassing any absentee ballot. If the voter comes to the poll site, on Election Day or during early voting and votes in person, the absentee ballot is set aside and not counted.
