“Dancing for the Children” is a benefit dance concert that will feature performers from 5 different area dance studios: Sleepy Hollow Performing Artists (SHPAC), Logrea Dance Academy, Dawn McMahon School of Dance, Bollywood Axion, and Natya Anubhava Academy of Classical Indian Dance. It will also feature Briarcliff A Capella groups The B-Clef Bellatones and Noteworthy. The event is produced by Briarcliff High School students Komal Keerthy, Kelly Hooper, Letitia Chan, Sarah Kaul and Madeline Elkes. Proceeds will benefit enrichment programs at the Ossining Children’s Center. The Ossining Children’s Center provides nurturing care and education for children, ages 8 weeks to 12 years. A scholarship program keeps programs affordable for families of all income levels. The Center creates a foundation for children’s life-long intellectual, social and emotional development and serves as a community resource and advocate for families.
