Dare to Care Campaign Raises $700K For Pets In Need

The month-long national campaign ended Oct. 3 in Westchester with a celebratory pet-friendly 5K walk/run.

VALHALLA, NY — Veterinary Emergency Group, the world’s veterinary emergency company that helps people and their pets when they need it most, held a month-long Dare to Care campaign to support VEG Cares and raise funds for underserved pets across the U.S.A.

The campaign kicked off Sept. 1 in San Ramon, California, and ended in the Hudson Valley with a celebratory pet-friendly 5K walk/run at Westchester Community College.

“Dare to Care is a celebration of our VEGgies coming together and giving back to local communities and their pets in need,” said Dr. David Bessler, founder and CEO of VEG. “The month-long celebration will also allow our VEGgies to support other causes that they are passionate about.”
