There was a big turnout Tuesday to see Deputy County Executive Kevin J. Plunkett at the Westchester County Municipal Clerks and Finance Officers Association monthly lunch. Despite the cold weather, members, including the organization’s president, Briarcliff Village Clerk Christine Dennett, packed Elmsford’s A'Mangiare restaurant to hear Mr. Plunkett speak about issues ranging from economic development, to Rye Playland, to the Housing Settlement, to the Tappan Zee Bridge project. Mr. Plunkett spoke mainly about the many shared services offered throughout the county (more than 130!) and County Executive Robert P. Astorino's focus on putting the “we” in Westchester by collaborating with our towns and villages to achieve results for taxpayers.
