Community Corner

Delicious Holiday to You & Yours!

PFM-Online's open for preorders Tues 7pm - Thurs 7pm; pick up items Saturday 9-11:30am

Thanks for contributing to the great community spirit present each Saturday at the Market. Thank you for supporting regional farms throughout the winter, helping them to stay strong come spring. And thanks for supporting the healthy tradition of home cooking. We're so pleased we've been able to continue to provide the forum of the Pleasantville Farmers Market for area residents and regional farmers and food artisans to come together. And we truly wish you and yours a fine holiday season -- especially at mealtimes!

BRISK SERVICE,
CRISP WEATHER

Preorder to beat the chill!
Saturday's weather will challenge our producers' and shoppers' ability to adapt to a deep winter market season. There will be no walk up items at Mead Orchards, Gajeski Produce Or Maple View Farm as these farms will focus on protecting preordered items in their heated trucks and distribution. Please plan to preorder from these vendors for this reason.

Many other vendors do make their items available by preorder and walk up service but if you can preorder it will help everyone get in and out quickly.

Click Pleasantville Farmers Market Online to begin shopping after 7:00pm tonight. PFM-O is open until 7:00pm Thursday evening but some items may sell out early due to holiday volume.

Each bottle is handled over two dozen times in the laborious hand process and aged over three years to develop complex yeasty flavors. And Whitecliff has a dessert wine, Bourbon Barrel Blond, which is a white port, aged in bourbon barrels from a local distillery. It is 19% alcohol and gently sweet -- a great pairing with apple pie, flan or cheese cake.
