Don't Miss: Journaling Workshop At Rockefeller Preserve Saturday
This is a way to experience everyday surroundings while creating a record of quick landscape studies, bird sketches and writing.

PLEASANTVILLE, NY — The Rockefeller Preserve are hosting its first ever nature journaling workshop on Saturday. Combine your thoughts and experiences with the views, sounds, rhythms and aromas of the Rockefeller landscape. The one-hour event runs from 10:30 am to 11:30 am.
This group workshop is a fun way to experience your everyday surroundings in a new way, while creating a record for yourself of quick landscape studies, bird sketches, nature poetry, and free writing. The facilitators will provide prompts (writing, drawing, and listening exercises). You bring your journals and writing/sketching materials.
Meet at the Welcome Center courtyard. Rain date Sept. 2.

The workshop is led by Julia Jardine, Conservation Communicator at Rockefeller Preserve, and Mike Miernik, Preserve volunteer.
The Preserve Office and Gallery are open daily from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and are located at 125 Phelps Way, Pleasantville, NY, 10570.
