Drivers: Sprain Parkway Lane Closures March 3, 4

Daytime lane closures are expected for the Sprain Brook Parkway between Interstate 287 and the Taconic State Parkway on Thursday and Friday while crews perform maintenance activities.

They’ll occur on the northbound side of the Parkway on March 3; and on the southbound side of the Parkway March 4. The closures are expected to take place between 9:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Drivers are asked to use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs.

Remember, fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone, and convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of a person’s driver license.
