The Pleasantville Farmers Market offers an open door to area residents and visitors from neighboring villages to enjoy nature's progression of colorful, seasonal foods. Every Saturday, from across the region, producers travel to our Village to provide an incredible, diverse display of fresh foods. The Open Door Family Medical Center WIC Program will visit Saturday to provide a Chef Demo of their Summer Rainbow Salad (10:30-12:00) as well as highlight their mission to build healthier communities within Westchester and Putnam Counties. Visitors to the Market will also see art instructors Kat and Greg Nemec helping children create their own mixed media mandalas in our Kids Event area (9:30-11:00), and a Music Series performance of Indian music with sitar and tabla by The Biryani Boys (10:00-12:00). Consistent with Open Door’s mission to build healthier communities, they offer nutritional counseling at no cost to participants in the WIC program (women, infants and children) in Westchester and Putnam Counties. Thirsty For Something GOOD?
Drink More Good has been crafting artisanal soda syrups from the best ingredients for customers of the Market since 2013. Two seasonal syrups they're currently highlighting are Cherry Cola - made with regionally grown Fishkill Farms tart cherries and a Classic Cola Recipe. And Strawberry Peppercorn - regionally grown Wright's Farm strawberries with black and white peppercorns. If that wasn't good enough: In addition to buying regional produce to promote and support local farms, Drink More Good also donates a dollar for every bottle of syrup sold to the respective farm whose produce was used in the making of the seasonal flavor.

Conant Valley Jam will have their first batch of Wild Raspberry Jam of the season this Saturday.
