Hudson Valley, New York, May 21, 2014- The Northern New York operations team of Enterprise Holdings, the corporate parent of the Enterprise Rent-A-Car, National Car Rental and Alamo Rent A Car brands, assisted the American Cancer Society through Pace University’s Relay for Life event on Friday, April 25.
“It’s through the dedication of our employees and community that we were able to raise funds for the American Cancer Society,” said Katie Wolverton, Human Resources Generalist. “We strive to make a positive difference in our community and the Relay for Life event was a great opportunity to do so.”
The Northern New York operations team assisted with the overall set up of the event. During Relay for Life, Pace University organized various walks to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. Food, games and activities also engaged the community to celebrate and honor those who were affected by cancer. This year, Pace University raised more than $29,000, through the Relay for Life initiatives.

“We have a strong connection with the Pace University community. Through the relationships built by our team, we were able to create a positive and inspiring event well attended by the community,” added Ms. Wolverton.
