Erratic Driving on the Sprain Parkway Leads to DWI Charge

Peekskill resident Christina Frayne, 29, faces a charge of Driving While Intoxicated, a misdemeanor.

Troopers were dispatched to the Sprain Brook Parkway in Mount Pleasant at 6 a.m. Nov. 29 after a caller alerted police to a vehicle that was swerving in and out of its lane.

The vehicle was stopped on the parkway and the driver, identified as Frayne, was found to be driving while intoxicated, police said.

Frayne provided a breath sample that yielded a Blood Alcohol Content of .17 percent, police said.

She was issued a traffic ticket and is due in Mount Pleasant town court on Dec. 11.
