Briarcliff Manor-Scarborough Historical Society Free Tour of Local Houses of Worship


Briarcliff Manor-Scarborough Historical Society is Hosting its Third Houses of Worship Tour – Sunday, March 27th –beginning at 1:30 pm. This final tour of local houses of worship in this series will visit Faith Lutheran Brethren Church, 480
Pleasantville Road, and St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, Pleasantville Road & Central Drive, Briarcliff Manor. Members of the Church will tell a short history of the buildings and the Churches. The visits will be followed by a reception in the Historical Society’s headquarters at the Briarcliff Manor Public Library. Refreshments will be served and there will be a display of documents and memorabilia from all eight local houses of worship we have visited over the last year. Representatives from all eight have also been invited to attend.

Anyone interested in attending and learning more about these historic Houses of Worship in Briarcliff, should meet at the Faith Lutheran Brethren parking lot at 1:30 pm on March 27th. The event is free, but Please call 941-4393 to reserve your place
