Recently hailed as one of Westchester magazine's "Best of the Decade" in the arts, the internationally-acclaimed Music from Copland House ensemble steps away from its home base at Copland's National Historic Landmark home in Cortlandt Manor for a dazzling program featuring country fiddle sensation Mark O'Connor's Poets and Prophets, inspired by Johnny Cash; Copland's landmark Vitebsk, a dark portrait of old Russia; Grammy-winning Paul Schoenfield's Café Music and its dazzling mélange of klezmer, dixieland, and ragtime; and Emmy-winning John Musto's Piano Trio, a kinetic urban soundscape.
