Still going strong at age 90, composer and pianist Dave Brubeck played more than 50 concerts around the world last year. Along with his original quartet he took jazz to a new place, experimenting with time signatures in “Take Five” and other pieces, and later expanding the repertoire to include orchestral works. It’s all here in this warm personal documentary, including vintage performances, jam sessions, and interviews with musicians and Dave himself, along with his wife and collaborator Iola.
