As an executive at Paramount Pictures, and before becoming the editor-in-chief of Variety Magazine, Peter Bart helped develop iconic films including Rosemary’s Baby, Paper Moon, The Godfather, and one of his favorites, Harold and Maude. Bart writes in his new book, Infamous Players: A Tale of Movies, The Mob, (And Sex), that, “Harold and Maude was a momentary failure, but it would live forever as a cult classic…Over time, scores of people have told me where they were when they first saw [it], who they were with, and what happened as a result." After the screening Bart will discuss the film and sign copies of Infamous Players, which chronicles his wild days at Paramount.
