Rye Town Park Hosting Opening Reception Party for Tobey Sculpture Show. All Are Invited!

Rye Town Park, just a short trip from Pleasantville & Briarcliff Manor will open an exhibition of David Tobey's welded steel sculpture by the Pond on Saturday afternoon, October 22nd from 2-4 p.m. with a reception for the artist. The party will feature live music by KirkMusic Productions of Westchester's jazz quartet, "The Pink and Green Cafe"; complimentary refreshments and free parking for all guests. Join us!

 

In addition to the artwork and live music, the park, with its Long Island Sound beachfront and over 20 acres of landscaped paths and lawns is a great place to view the fall foliage,  predicted to be at its height the third week in October. Guests are encouraged to come early and to and to spend a few hours exploring and then attend the free mini-concert at 2:30.

The exhibition at the park will run through November 17th, and a portion of any proceeds from the sale of sculpture will benefit The Friends of Rye Town Park.
