Everyone Wins in the "Souper Bowl" at Briarcliff Schools
Todd Elementary PTA and BMS Students Government Raise Awareness and Collect Food for Lift-Up Westchester
The Student Government at BMS ran running a Souper Bowl canned food drive on Friday, February 2. The students collected over 275 cans and boxes of food during our Soup-er Bowl to support Lift Up Westchester, a food pantry serving central Westchester. Students are pictures with the cans they collected in the main lobby of BMS that day.
At Todd, the School PTA Community Outreach Committee chaired by Kate Sanzenbacher and Cathy Labick sponsored the 4th annual Souper Bowl to help fight hunger. students were asked to donate at least one canned good or non persishible to help those in need in Westchester.
Children rooting for the Eagles came to school dressed in green and black. Children rooting for the Patriots came wear red and blue. And some chose BLUE and ORANGE to show their Briarcliff school spirit.
Special bins were in both lobbies at Todd to collect their donations as kids arrived at school - one bin for the Eagles, and one for the Patriots. TODD SOUPER BOWL IV final score 181 eagles - 110 pats. 291 cans total!
