Everything you ever wanted to know about social media, texting and your kids – but were afraid to ask!

Dr. Englander gives parents concrete tips, new perspectives on teaching children how to use social media safely and successfully.

On Monday, October 30, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in the Briarcliff Middle School Theater (444 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor), the PTA will host "An evening with Dr. Elizabeth Englander."

The discussion will center around parenting modern-day children on the issues of screen time, social conflict, bullying, cyberbullying, and the use and over use of social media can be challenging. This presentation will give parents concrete tips and new perspectives about how to address and educate their children about using social media and how to maximize their social success in school and online. The goal is to help parents and their children feel more in control of digital technology and social dynamics. Learn about research on the most effective ways that parents can address common digital struggles while helping their children socially.
