Fall Farm Events

Fall means harvest season, and it brings out the best in our area farms.

It’s a wonderful, low-cost way to get outside in the fresh air, and get active with your families.

Each farm is different -- it brings its own flavor to the experience. Browse our big list of local farms that offer fall activities, and see which new ones you want to try this season!

PUMPKIN PATCH
Time: 11 am – 4:30 pm
Location: Queens County Farm Museum
October is pumpkin month at Queens Farm. Enjoy wandering through our patch to find your perfect pumpkin. A great farm adventure for the whole family!

Pumpkin Picking
Time: Saturday, Sunday and all holidays open to the public 9am to 6pm. Monday – Friday for school group reservations only 9am to 5pm.
Location: Apple Ridge Orchards
Prepare yourself for a new experience in pumpkin picking with pumpkins of all sizes.

FALL FESTIVAL
Date: Sat, 10/11/2014
Time: 10am - 5pm
Location: Harvest Moon Farm and Orchards
Come celebrate the beautiful Fall season. Open every weekend throughout September and October and Columbus Day!

CHILDREN’S FALL FESTIVAL
Date: Sun, 10/26/2014
Time: 11 am – 4 pm
Location: Queens County Farm Museum
A festival of Halloween fun for children of all ages; everyone is invited to wear their costume! Free children’s games & bounces and professional character look-a-likes will add to the excitement.

Harvest Festival Weekend
Date: Sat, 10/18/2014
Time: 11am - 3pm
Location: Stamford Museum & Nature Center
Saturday October 18 and Sunday October 19, 11am – 3pm. Celebrate the fall season, bring family and friends, and join us for our annual Harvest Festival Weekend. Rain or Shine.
