The Pleasantville Road strip of Briarcliff Manor bustled on Thursday as the "First Thursday Night Lights" celebrated its summer kick-off event. With a Cinco de Mayo theme, shops were offering free music, food and drink, as well as a chance to relax and enjoy all that this unique town has to offer.
Locals were treated to a wine tasting at , sangria at and shrimp, salsa and chips at .
Every month will feature a different theme and activities. The next First Thursday will be June 2 with a "Jazz in the Village" theme and will feature some of the area's local jazz talents.
