Former Briarcliff Manor Woman, Maryellen P. Bubser, Passed Away

BUBSER, MARYELLEN P.

Maryellen P. Bubser of Bedford Hills, formerly of Briarcliff Manor, died August 3, 2014. She was born November 10, 1931 in Passaic, NJ to J. Robert & Mary (Phelan) Powers.

Maryellen worked as a secretary for Y & R Advertising in NYC. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Maryellen was a gourmet cook and avid reader. To her, “home is where her heart is.”

She was pre-deceased by her sisters Ann & Julie. Maryellen is survived by her husband David, sons Dave (Julie), Bob (Jean), Tom (Debbie White), daughters Amy van Zon, Liz Mailhot (Andy), brother John Powers, grandchildren Kristyn, Diana, Robert, Lauren, Tom, Hanna, Matt, Travis, & Jared.

The family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9pm at Leach & Thomas, Inc. 32 State St. Ossining. Mass Thursday 10am at St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Katonah. In lieu of flowers donations to My Second Home Adult Day Care 95 Radio Circle Mt. Kisco, NY 10549 appreciated.
