FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE MOVIES: The Martian [PG-13]
The Academy-Award nominated film starring Matt Damon, Friday, March 11 at 7pm at the Briarcliff Manor Public Library
During a manned mission to Mars, Astronaut Mark Watney (Matt Damon) is presumed dead after a fierce storm and left behind by his crew. Millions of miles away, NASA and a team of international scientists work tirelessly to bring Watney home, while his crewmates concurrently plot a daring, if not impossible, rescue mission. This movie was nominated for 7 Academy Awards, including best picture. Registration is recommended but all are welcome to attend.
