Lead Sponsor Northwell Health Tip:
According to Stephanie Schiff, RDN, a registered dietitian at Northwell Health, "Not only are crunchy vegetables high in fiber, they also contain a variety of vitamins and other nutrients that may positively impact stress. Cruciferous vegetables such as Swiss chard, broccoli, bok choy, cauliflower, radishes, kale, turnips, and arugula are tremendous sources of fiber and vitamins C, E, and K. Vitamin K in particular can have a big effect on reducing inflammation and decreasing cortisol production." Brought to you by Northern Westchester and Phelps, your local Northwell hospitals.

Three of their favorites: cheddar cheese powder, Dijon mustard powder, and cayenne. Also, panna cottas are back and they've made hibiscus cherry buttermilk panna cotta for Valentine's Day.

The big game is Sunday and we have three farms with chicken wings for your buffet table:
- SOVA Farm's Certified Organic, pastured birds produce incredibly meaty wings, are sold as an 8 pack, and this week they're on SALE, 20% off at $5.00/lb. Farmer Ed McNamara prefers to keep things simple (a little olive oil, salt and pepper, and roasted in the oven for 40 minutes at 400 degrees), but he shares this link with a bunch of recipes from the Food Network if you want to jazz things up!
- Woven Stars Farm also has a 20% off SALE on chicken wings from their pastured flock this week. 6 packs are $4.80/lb (reg. $6.00/lb). Their whole wings (including wingettes, drumettes, and wing tips) are great roasted in the oven, smoked, grilled, or used to make extra flavorful stock or gravy. They're rich in collagen, full of immune system-supporting essential minerals, and high in protein -- while very low in carbs.
- Hilly Acres Farm also has wings, sold in 4 packs at $5.50/lb, and they have beef short ribs as well. Looking for more of a mid-winter Sunday supper? Hilly Acres has 12-15 lb. frozen turkeys discounted to $4.49/lb, boneless pork loin roasts (avg. 2 - 3.5 lb. at $8.99/lb), and their chickens make a great Sunday dinner as well.
Be popular at the party: walk in the door with a Knot of This World Pretzels' bag of 50 pretzel nuggets (cinnamon or salted). Be even more popular: also walk in with a Pickle Licious party platter of pickled treats!
