BRIARCLIFF MANOR, NY — The school board and budget vote is coming up May 17, when Briarcliff school district voters will weigh in on a $56.28 million spending plan and two seats on the Board of Education.

There are two seats open on the school board as Kenneth Torosian's and Michelle Woerner's terms expire in June. They are running for re-election as a team. Joanna Stein Weiner withdrew from the race.

The $56,280,408 spending plan is 4.82 percent higher than the current budget. It will result in an estimated tax levy increase of 2.75 percent, which is under the state tax cap.
