Happy Holidays! Thanks for contributing to the great community spirit present each Saturday at the Market. Thank you for supporting regional farms throughout the winter, helping them to stay strong come spring. And thanks for supporting the healthy tradition of home cooking. We're so pleased to provide a forum for the weekly delicious good time that is the Pleasantville Farmers Market. We truly wish you and yours a fine holiday season -- especially at mealtimes!

The Market has multiple vendors with potatoes, onions and eggs to create delicious latke. Edible Hudson Valley let us know about a new Edible Westchester just begun, which has a nice summary of latke recipes you can view by clicking here.

VENDOR HIGHLIGHTS

Kriemhild Gift Sets:

Order By 6pm Thursday (today)

Today is the last day to pre-order Kriemhild Dairy Farms gift sets containing Kriemhild Meadow Butter, Kriemhild Creme Fraiche, non-GMO regional popcorn, a bottle of Tree Juice maple syrup and a 2017 Kriemhild tree ornament. The order cut off is 6pm today. To order email kriemhilddairy@gmail.com. Kriemhild Dairy Farms will deliver gift sets this Saturday and they'll have for sale all sizes of butter (salted and unsalted), creme fraiche and Trimona Bulgarian Yogurt.

Go-Go Gingerbread

All December Go-Go Pops has their beautiful decorative gingerbread. Place an order Saturday for one of their largest, custom cookies.

Demi Olive Oil

Demi Olive Oil will be in this Saturday and next with attractive gift packaging for their bottled EVOO.

Red Barn Bakery

Among their many baked items they'll have Organic, freshly baked pies including: apple; salted caramel; pear cranberry, pumpkin squash; and pecan.

Spice Revolution: Spices For Latke

This weekend Spice Revolution features seasonings to perfect latkes. More than two dozen to choose from including: smoked sweet Spanish paprika, zesty Italian, vintage Merlot sea salt, Greek mix, sweet pepper mix & more. They will also continue their "Give Great Gifts" promotion: buy 5 spice tins get the 6th tin for FREE through 12/23/17.

Cowberry Crossing Farm

Cowberry Crossing Farm is highlighting for Hanukkah that they will be stocked up on Organic potatoes, apples, chicken and grass fed/finished brisket.

Gluten-Free Holiday Items

Spoonful of Sugar Bake Shop will make their visit for the month of December this Saturday and will have gluten free rugelach (in response to requests by P'ville customers), gluten/dairy free chocolate babka (family size and small), gluten/dairy free gingerbread tart, gluten/dairy free raspberry almond cake (family size and small), gluten free struffoli (Italian tradition - fried dough drizzled in honey) and gluten/dairy free rainbow cookies.

Kiernan Farm: SALE

This week Kiernan Farm has a SALE on their bulk ground beef (buy 5 one lb. packages, get $10 off the total - saving about $2.00/lb.) and their beef short ribs are discounted too. Also, buy any two packages (4 links) of their pork hot or sweet Italian sausages (reg. $10.50 ea.) to get $4 off the total.

Conant Valley Jams

Conant Valley Jams are so attractively packaged you don't need to wrap them for holiday gifting as stocking stuffers or as a gift for your child's teacher.

Bombay Emerald Chutney Company
