Happy Thanksgiving!
Place preorders from our vendors Tues, 7:00pm – Thurs, 7:00pm. Then walk up Saturday, 8:30am – 1:00pm, to gather your preorders shop further

The farmers and food artisans of the Pleasantville Farmers Market are bringing their best this Saturday to help you make your Thanksgiving week special. Sharper Harper will be in to sharpen knives on site. Living Edge Designs and The River Garden have beautiful craft items to gift or decorate with. Both Whitecliff Vineyard and Spirits Lab Distillery will be in. This week Gajeski Produce and Maple View Farm have rejoined Pleasantville Farmers Market Online (PFM-O), so all our producers are available for preorders, making it possible to get in and out quickly this Saturday with your items.
After next week's closure on 11/27, be ready to preorder using PFM-O when it opens at 7:00pm on Tuesday 11/30 so you can easily pick up items at the Plaza on Saturday 12/4, our first Winter Market day. Please note the winter season hours start on that day: 9:00am - 11:30am.
On behalf of the Market and all its vendors, we THANK YOU for shopping with us all season. Your patronage makes a big difference to the families of our producers. And we know they appreciate being able to provide for your family as well.

Calling All Harvest Heroes
& Winter Warriors!
Last year we established our first annual fundraising campaign. We timed it with the winter season to encourage support for your year-round vendors, and so we could provide relevant thank you gifts to donors such as warm PFM winter hats, and the waiving of PFM-O service fees December - March. Thanks so much if you contributed in this way last winter! This year we're back with a call for support and we again have some fun, complementary thank you items. Donations can be made through PFM-O. Here's the details:
Contribute as a $50 HARVEST HERO to receive:
(collect PFM tote bags any Saturday at Manager's Tent)
Contribute as a WINTER WARRIOR to receive:
(collect items on the upcoming Swag Bag Days of 12/11 or 12/18)
THANKS in advance if you're able to support us in this way - your collaboration helps make a year-round Pleasantville Farmers Market possible. Please note that because the Market is a 501 (c)(4) nonprofit organization, individual contributions are not tax deductible.

Bread Alone Bakery has been a popular vendor for many years, but their business is growing and changing. Unfortunately, after suffering inventory problems throughout 2021, they've made the decision to focus on other parts of their business. As such, they have decided to withdraw from Pleasantville Farmers Market after November 20th. We thank them for being part of our Market, and wish them well. Orwashers Bakery and Bobolink Dairy & Bakehouse continue with us year-round (including all winter) with their baked goods. And we'll find a new bread baker for next spring to serve our shoppers' needs.
Phelps Health Tip:
Lead Sponsor Phelps Hospital Northwell Health shares the following "Apple cider vinegar (ACV) contains acetic acid, vitamin C, and B vitamins. Acetic acid can increase the body's absorption of important minerals from the foods we eat. Several studies have shown ACV consumption in patients with Type 2 diabetes improved their blood sugar control, insulin levels, and high triglyceride levels". (Dancing Spirits Herbs will be in this Saturday with their diverse line of apple cider vinegars)
Out of cash at the Market? Use your debit or credit card (8:30am - 12:00pm) to receive Market Bucks at the Manager's Tent.
KNOW BEFORE YOU GO
Pleasantville Farmers Market remains committed to the health and safety of the whole community, including shoppers, vendors, volunteers, and staff.
Mask wearing for unvaccinated shoppers (including children under 12) is required, and all shoppers are requested to maintain physical distancing in the marketplace.
Because many our food artisans sell delicious treats that can be consumed at the Market, physically distanced tables and chairs are provided on our grass area for families to enjoy their treats together, mask-free.
Avoid the Market if you're sick. Especially so if you exhibit any symptoms of the COVID-19 virus (temperature of 100° or above, a cough, a sore throat, shortness of breath). The New York State Department of Health has set up a hotline at (888) 364-3065 where Department of Health experts are available to answer questions regarding COVID-19.
