We wish you and yours a happy and healthy Thanksgiving. On behalf of the Market and all its producers we THANK YOU for shopping with us year-round. Your patronage makes a huge difference! It's redeeming each week to see familiar faces at the Market and to know that the exchanges shoppers have in person, and the meals they make throughout the week, are nourishing our community.
The Market is CLOSED this week. Between daily steps to ensure that mesclun, meats, seafood, breads, and other items are ready for you on December 3, our producers are enjoying a bit of time off to reflect on another season in Pleasantville. Our roster of farmers and food artisans is one of the best and we really appreciate their positive and diligent service. Please keep them an essential part of your weekly shopping this winter -- that's the best way to acknowledge their contributions!

After this week's closure on Saturday 11/26, be ready to preorder using Pleasantville Farmers Market Online (PFM-O) when it reopens at 7:00pm, Tuesday 11/29. That way you can have items waiting for you at the Plaza on Saturday 12/3. If you forget to preorder, most vendors have selected items for walk up purchases (the exceptions being lettuces, microgreens and apples as those cannot be displayed for walk up shopping due to winter's cold temperatures -- preorders of these items are kept warm in vendor vehicles until you arrive).
Next Tuesday the Market will introduce two NEW producers:

- Bohemian Baked, starting on 12/10, bringing wheat free, dairy free and vegan baked goods ranging from breads to cupcakes and everything in between. Bohemian Baked will visit the Market two times a month (except in December as the Market is closed on 12/24).
Please note the Winter Market hours start on 12/3:
9:00am - 11:30am.
THANKS TO OUR 2022 SPONSORS!
The Market is made possible in part due to the generous support of several Sponsors. As we begin our Thanksgiving week, we want to take this moment to acknowledge their contributions:
Since 2013 Phelps Hospital Northwell Health has offered key support as a Lead Sponsor of the Pleasantville Farmers Market. Following their assistance in 2021 with community health initiatives such as a series of vaccination events, in 2022 they focused their support on our Health & Sustainability program, hosting Registered Dietitian Marina Stopler (MS, RD, IBCLC) with monthly Nutrition Bits & Bites events presenting information, samples, and dialogue about cooking with seasonal ingredients, and the nutritional benefits of doing so.
We thank the Village of Pleasantville (and the Pleasantville Chamber of Commerce) for their ongoing support of the Pleasantville Farmers Market's mission in 2022!
2022 saw the return of super fun, weekly kids events due to support from our Sponsor Kiwi Country Day Camp.
Shoppers were able to use their SNAP benefits at the Market thanks to our Sponsor The Pleasantville Lions Club which provided "Bonus Bucks" to add 40% more value to one's SNAP benefits.
This year new Sponsor Patty Anker & The A Team of Howard Hanna / Rand Realty presented a Community Tent twice a month featuring local organizations sharing information about their good works. And on some days Patty's team tabled themselves to share information about the Chamber, community events, the local housing market and they offered Village walking tours too!
In 2022 the Pleasantville Farmers Market Music Series was back with weekly live performances by great musical acts thanks to returning sponsor Westchester Prep.
