Hazardous Conditions In Pleasantville

PLEASANTVILLE, NY — The mayor sent an advisory to residents:

We are seeing tree damage from the heavy, wet snow - and the Harlem Line is shut down because of multiple downed trees. We are also receiving reports of wires hanging low.

PLEASE stay off the roads and be mindful of potential tree hazards.

ALSO - always assume downed wires are “live” and energized. Do not attempt to approach or remove any downed wires. Call 911 and Con Ed (1-800-752-6633) to report downed wires.
