Help Make The Community You Want: Briarcliff Seeks Committee Members

BRIARCLIFF MANOR, NY — The Briarcliff Board of trustees hopes to fill several open positions on volunteer committees that help the village run.

There are openings on the following committees (click on the links for more info about committee missions, typical meeting times, and qualifications):

• Architectural Review and Advisory Committee
• Sustainability Advisory Committee
• Recreation Advisory Committee
• Library Board
• Zoning Board of Appeals
• Planning Board

"It may be the most rewarding job you will not be paid for," village officials pointed out on the website. "The compensation comes from the warm feelings of respect and appreciation you'll get from your neighbors, your family, your children. Your grandparents will get to brag about you, even if you never went to med school or never won a Nobel Prize."
