Have ideas to share for this summer's event programming? We'd love to hear your suggestions!

The community organization tabling this Saturday is Foodchester, the same non-profit that manages the Pleasantville Farmers Market on behalf of the Village. Stop by to speak with volunteers who help coordinate our outdoor Kids events and Music Series performances. Offer your event ideas and learn how events are put into action at the Market. Foodchester is Pleasantville-based, volunteer-driven and always seeking new events to support our market event -- and further contribute to the civic nature that makes Pleasantville such a wonderful place to visit and live. See you at the Market!

Every Saturday at the Managers Table there is a "Bag Exchange" bin where shoppers can donate clean reusable bags they're no longer using. This way shoppers arriving without a bag may pick one up for free. Each season our Lead Sponsor Phelps Hospital Northwell Health, also donates to the Bag Exchange. You'll see their blue reusable shopping bags around. Thanks Phelps!

Market Intern Program
The Market is accepting applications from area High School students for the upcoming spring Intern Program. For information inquire at the Managers Table.

Phelps Health Tip:
Lead Sponsor Phelps Hospital Northwell Health shares the following: "Health experts have emphasized the significance of reducing sodium and increasing potassium levels in the US diet. Sodium intake can be lowered by avoiding processed foods, and by eating more produce. Potassium occurs naturally in items like beets, chard, potatoes, bok choy, winter squash and spinach".
