Hey, It's March!
Place preorders from our vendors Tues, 7:00pm – Thurs, 7:00pm. Then walk up Saturday, 9 – 11:30am to gather preorders and shop further

March is a month of transitions -- in season, in outlook, and in the Pleasantville Farmers Market preparing for another exciting spring, summer and fall at Memorial Plaza. We have plenty of news which we'll share over the next few weeks.
With spring not beginning until 3/20, we will tip our hat to winter for a few more weeks while shopping -- enjoying the Market's hot drinks, warm company, and delicious foods. And while fields remain dormant, and frost a hazard, our indoor-growing farmers will continue to provide their fresh, season-extending crops.
Please keep arriving each Saturday to support our regional farms and the food artisans that source them. Your purchases are particularly helpful at this time of year as producers invest in the upcoming season.

Phelps Health Tip:
Lead Sponsor Phelps Hospital Northwell Health shares the following: "The benefits of antioxidants show up everywhere, but the synergy that occurs between the vitamins, minerals, fiber, phytochemicals, and antioxidants when we eat whole plant foods may reduce the risk of some serious chronic conditions and cancers. Eat more whole plant foods and do it more frequently".
Market Intern Program
The Market is accepting applications from area students, grades 8 - 12, for the our spring/summer/fall Intern Program. For information email info@pleasantvillefarmersmarket.org.
