Giving this a lot of thought lately....
Sometimes I am selling couture, designer LUXE items that not only could I never afford, but could never get away with wearing because of my casual mom lifestyle. You see, recently I've lost 90 pounds. It sounds drastic but I have been at if for more than 2 years.
My adorable, slight, and always fashion forward mother was always my secret muse. Although not always happy (now very happy and remarried), she always pulsed forward, heading out the door, dressed to the nines presenting a "BRING IT" appearance, because she adored getting dressed and took such pleasure in it, clearly genetic.
I'm sure I am not the only girl out there who has struggled with weight issues with a fabulous, glamorous mother. Mine wears her clothes with purpose. Her mother and grandmother did the same. I now have pictures to prove it. Some are fabulous like Boardwalk Empire fabulous!
See how I digress? My mother, grandmother and great grandmother definitely helped inspire me to start my high end eBay shop, selling gorgeous, luxurious women's and menswear. Now, my hope is to create a life for myself where I have occasions to wear clothes like the ones I sell in my store, like my mother, grand mother and great grandmother did. They always made an entrance. My secret dream is to make an entrance! I want my children to see me make an entrance, as I remember my mother doing!
So go on, y'all (my family is from Mobile Alabama so hence my southern usage of you all) buy gorgeous pieces of clothing, bags and shoes, make fabulous plans to wear them to fantastic places and make memories like the ones depicted in these photos and most of all, MAKE AN ENTRANCE. Don't wait for someone else to make plans, you make them! This is not a dress rehearsal, this is it!!!!!
