Hudson Chorale: Recital by Music Director, Ira Spaulding (3/19/17)

An international recitalist, conductor and master class teacher takes you on a musical journey in several languages and music genres.

Ira Spaulding, Music Director of Hudson Chorale and a baritone with a 37-year career as a recitalist that spans the globe, will perform a benefit recital on Sunday, March 19, 2017, starting at 3:00 pm at the Church of St. Barnabas, 15 North Broadway, Irvington, NY.

This fundraising event will benefit the Chorale’s orchestra fund and help hire a professional orchestra for its June concert while guests have a musically marvelous time and enjoy some delectable and spirits. Spaulding will sing an eclectic recital of pieces in English, Italian and German, featuring early opera arias, lieder by Mozart and Schubert, and Negro Spirituals. Spaulding has performed as a recitalist for more than 37 years, both in the United States and around the world.
