Get 'em while they're hot!

The parking lot at the was filled with cars Friday morning as eager book lovers came looking to find incredible bargains. With hardcover books, trade paperbacks and pocket paperbacks going for 3/$1 and CDs, DVDs and records (yes, records!) priced between .50—$1, patrons were not disappointed.

Everything from fiction, animals, sports & games; to nature and gardening, humor and how-to books; to mysteries and children's books were up for grabs. With so much to choose from, it would've been very easy to spend the entire morning browsing these literary treasures.

The friendly volunteers who ran the sale were kept busy sorting books into categories, keeping the tables orderly, cashiering and helping customers as needed.
