It’s Back! Community Blood Drive at the Pleasantville High School

Pleasantville High School to host its first Blood Drive since November 2019!

The Pleasantville High School is pleased to finally be able to hold community blood drives after a long, covid-induced hiatus. It had been one of the most successful high school-based drives in the County. Its comeback will help a return to more normalcy in regards to blood donations: more and more people will be able to donate in a convenient location and during convenient hours, thereby reducing chronic and often severe shortages. In addition, a donation to the Feeding Westchester central food bank will be made in honor of all donors, so you’ll be serving two important causes in one.

Date: Thursday, March 3

Time: 11:00 am to 7:00 pm (NEW)

Location: Pleasantville High School, 60 Romer Avenue

Both whole blood and red cells units will be collected from qualifying candidates. Although this drive makes it convenient for Pleasantville residents to participate, blood donors from all towns are welcome to come to lend their help.

Covid protocols will continue to be followed. Donors will be required to wear a mask. To allow for sufficient social distancing and for planning purposes, appointments are preferred. Walk-ins will be admitted as long as distancing requirements can be followed.
