John Sanfratello: Pleasantville High School Alum

John A. Sanfratello passed away suddenly on July 25, 2013. He was 31 years old.

John was born on June 20, 1982 in White Plains. He was the son of Virginia McElroy Sanfratello of Pleasantville, and Richard Sanfratello of Deerfield Beach Florida.

He is survived by 2 loving sisters, Tracy (and brother in law Carmine ), Viola of White Plains and Kelly Vasta of Pleasantville. Also surviving are nephews and nieces, Johnny, Katie, Ava, and Matthew.

John grew up in Elmsford, graduated from Pleasantville H.S and attended Westchester Community College. John worked several years at the Westchester School for Special Children in Yonkers. He enjoyed sports, especially the Yankees. He participated in the Special Olympics. He’ll be remembered by many as “a great guy.” 

Visiting on Mon 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass Tues 10:00 Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Elmsford. Interment to follow.
