Joseph J. Loguercio, Pleasantville Veteran

Joseph J. Loguercio (Lewis) served in the U.S. Army for 1953 to 1958 and was active in the Mount Pleasant community.

Joseph J. Loguercio (Lewis) of Pleasantville, NY died April 23, 2013. He was 82. He was born on July 30, 1930 the son of John & Catherine Loguercio. Joseph served in the US Army from 1953-1958. He was a Union Plumber, with Local 21 of the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union. Joseph was an active member of the American Legion Post 1574 in Thornwood, and was a member of Holy Innocents Church, and the Mount Pleasant Senior Citizens.

Joseph’s wife, Irene (Goodhart) pre-deceased him.

His is survived by his sons; John, Robert & Roy Loguercio, his sister Madeline Antonecchia, and his brother Rocco Lewis. Grandfather of 7, Great-grandfather of 4. His sister Rose Murphy pre-deceased him.

Visiting hours Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Beecher Flooks Funeral Home, Inc., Pleasantville, NY. Mass of Christian Burial Saturday 11 AM, Holy Innocents Church, Pleasantville. Burial following at All Souls Cemetery, Pleasantville, NY.
