MOUNT PLEASANT, NY — Left lane closures are expected for both northbound and southbound sides of the Sprain Brook Parkway, between Route 100B and Interstate 287, from Tuesday to Saturday. Crews will be performing maintenance activities, weather permitting.
The northbound left lane is anticipated to be closed between 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and again on Saturday between 7 a.m. and 2 p.m. The southbound left lane is expected to be closed between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday with no Saturday closures planned for the southbound Parkway.
Use caution when traveling through the work zone area and pay particular attention to flaggers and all traffic control devices, including signs.

Remember fines are doubled for speeding in a work zone. In accordance with the Work Zone Safety Act of 2005, convictions of two or more speeding violations in a work zone could result in the suspension of an individual’s driver license.
