PLEASANTVILLE, NY — The big snowstorm will hit Wednesday afternoon, but Pleasantville recreation department officials are already thinking past it.

They've created the "Build a Snowman Challenge" and are urging local residents to get outside and be creative once the snow has stopped on Thursday.

(Of course, seeing as the Hudson Valley could get 20 inches of snow followed by frigid temps, there will be enough white stuff around that budding sculptors could wait till Friday or the weekend to get their creative juices flowing.)

Their recommendations (just to get you thinking) include: snowman, snow pet, snow monster, snow fort, snow arsenal, or luge track.

Share it with the recreation department staff to have it featured on the website. Learn more here.
