Metropolitan Opera Orchestra Cellist Performs at PHS

Last week, Stephen Ballou, an associate cellist from the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra, performed and spoke with students in the Library Media Center of .

Orchestra Teacher Mary Ann Meade arranged the visit, where Ballou performed The Six Suites for Solo Cello. He then dissected the movements with student musicians.

He also discussed the history of music with the high school students.
