Mount Pleasant Clean-Up Day Saturday

MOUNT PLEASANT, NY — It's the 10th annual Community Clean-up. Come and help clean our town!
Volunteers will focus on major areas in town that need help: Kensico Road, Saw Mill Parkway Entrance, Columbus Avenue, Broadway Field and Carroll Park.

It starts at 8 a.m. at James M. Carroll Park in Thornwood. Coffee and donuts will be served. The town will provide necessary supplies.
This year the clean-up will honor William Cary, who assisted the recreation department free of charge with the necessary treatments to some planted areas, with a tree planting donated by his association, NY State Turf + Landscape Association.
