Netflix's Daredevil Drops By Blythedale
Actor Charlie Cox toured the hospital meeting patients and parents, and talked with students and staff at the special school district.

MOUNT PLEASANT, NY — For the second-straight year, Blythedale Children’s Hospital welcomed Charlie Cox, the man behind the red, horned mask and title character in the Netflix series “Marvel’s Daredevil."
The British-born actor spent a portion of his morning touring the parts of the hospital in Valhalla, talking with inpatients and families bedside, and distributing Daredevil/Punisher reversible beanies (provided by Loot Crate).
One pediatric patient was even briefly trained, with parental permission, on how to defend against sibling rivalry.

While unmasked and away from his vigilantism crime-fighting TV persona, Cox also met with dozens of students, staff and faculty at the Mount Pleasant-Blythedale special school district.
As part of the hour-long assembly, he answered questions on topics ranging from acting and accents, to teamwork and the costume. Following his Q&A, students were able to grab a selfie and autographed beanie with Daredevil.
